So I have been going through finals. I have had absolutely no time to even relax for the past couple weeks. I have been going insane. Finals suck. However, I will be done by wednesday. And then SUMMER!

So here are my summer plans so far. I will me going to Mt. Hood Oregon and join up with some friends for a snowboard trip. It is so cool. Mt. Hood is a glacier, so I will be able to snowboard in warm weather. On top of that, I hear Oregon is just a beautiful area, and I am so excited to go hiking and all that stuff. I have never been northeast, so I am excited to be in the mountains.

I will continue blogging the next view days, because first, I have a saturday school, which is pretty much a detention, but at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning. It sucks, trust me. But I will go, because school it will just be extra studying hours. Maybe get a couple As? I beg.

I’ll catch you all later.

I finally turned in my big research paper that I had to write. I am scared to see the grade I get, but at the same time, i’m pretty confident. I spent a lot of time on this paper, and I even made 4 rough drafts until I made a final copy. It was intense, but I know I am being prepped for college. This isn’t last 12 page paper I will encounter.. unfortunately.

Well, if you guys didn’t notice, I added a new emoticon set. I decided to make a yellow set. I thought for a second, well, the original color of smily faces is yellow, so I might as well make one. It almost seemed like a necessity.

So back to my life. I had a good day today, but I am a suspected mono case. My friends have it, and I am going to the doctor to get tested for it tomorrow. I woke up this morning feeling a little sick, so I got worried, but I haven’t appeared to get any sicker. I don’t really even feel sick, just my ears and sinuses are a bit inflamed. Sucks, but I hope I don’t have mono! I mean, spring break is coming up! That would suck as. Also my birthday is over spring break! And if I have mono, I would be so pissed. So I’ll keep you guys updated. Cross your fingers though.

This blog entry is more of a vent for me, so I can get some stuff off of my chest. And I would like all the viewers out there to give me some guidance.

So I have been struggling this year to stay in school, mostly due to the fact that I have been beyond stressed out, anxious, and constantly have that heavy weight on my shoulders. Alongside, my school has simply just thrown me into the special education program, and said, good luck!

However, the special ed program at my school is incredible. But I just feel like they haven’t given me exactly what I needed. I have an IEP, and what not, but there have been few accommodations made that have actually helped me.

So like a few weeks back, I started the Bridges program at my school, which is a special ed program that students go to when they miss a bunch of school for whatever reasons. For about a week I went their all day to just do my make-up work, and prepare to go back to my classes. I finally went back, and was all up-to-date, except for one class: American Studies. American Studies is a combined class of english and U.S. History. Therefore, double the periods, double the work. And that was the last class I went back to.

I go back into American Studies, and I am still doing my Junior Theme, which is a big paper for juniors, and reading The Great Gatsby. And on top of all that, the day I go back, they assign a brand spankin’ new project on The Great Gatsby that they suspect me to finish in time by the regular due date. And on top of THAT, it is a group project, so I have responsibilities with other classmates. And on top of ALL of THAT, I still haven’t even finished reading Gatsby. So then I didn’t go to school today, because this weekend I had just huge mindfucks left and right, and a whole bunch of periods where I needed to calm myself down due to the amount of work I have to do.

I am going back to school tomorrow, but I am going to express how I feel about the curriculum to them. They want to keep me balanced, and not stressed, but now I have been the most stressed and unbalanced I have ever been. So, I am going to just go tomorrow, and tell them how I feel, and give them the work I have completed. The thing is Spring Break is coming up, along with my birthday (FER SURE), so it’s like all the big projects in school are being finished THIS week, while i’m trying to catch up from the past like 4 weeks.

I am done now. It’s all out of me. I love having a blog for these exact moments. But if you could, just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out, drop a comment, and give me some advice, I would really appreciate it.

The name makes sense. Finals are usually the final conclusion of your sanity. The final end to ones life. The final destination, pretty much like the movie. Finals are filled with blood, guts, pain, torture, and suffering. In the past two days, I have studied roughly 16 hours. Today alone, I studied a full 12 hours, with one break to get food, and one to pick a friend up. And the sick part about it is that I completed the studying for half of my spanish final, and about a quarter of my algebra 2 final.

I honestly believe that it’s wrong that schools put students through the pain they go through. And my school has it the worst, and i’m in the worst grade possible. Junior Year. During finals, my whole school turns into drug addicts. Somehow there is enough people with Adderall and other ADHD medications at my school to supply almost all 4500 students with a weeks supply of speed. From little freshman, to big seniors. Everyone is just taking tons of pills, and the school administration is well aware of it.

Let me explain to you what goes on at my school. We finish all of our new material for the semester, and then go on winter break for 2 weeks. First off, what exactly does the school think students are doing over winter break? Going over school work daily? No. Teenagers will get drunk, stoned, trip, and snort random stuff at any chance they can get. I can safely say I didn’t go too crazy over winter break, and I still completely forgot everything I was doing previously to winter break. When we get back after winter break, we have 1 week to review, and receive our study sheets. And then the following week is the dreaded finals. If I had finals right before winter break, I would probably have to do about a quarter of the studying I have done SO FAR. Oh, and on top of that I have to read a book for my Junior Theme. I am on page 75, and there is a little more than 400 pages. The reading is due the first thing after finals.

Where am I at right now? Sitting in bed at 2:20 AM on Monday, patiently awaiting the painful feeling of looking at your alarm clock when it says 6:30 AM, and is making a very sharp, painful noise. Today I woke up at 10:30 AM, got ready for the day, and was in the library wrist deep in notes, text books, and binders. I had such bad hand cramps I thought I wouldn’t be able to continue. I ended up studying from 1:30 AM, and just recently ended my studying about 10 minutes ago. It’s 2:24 AM, and I want to shoot myself, metaphorically speaking of course.

This long, rant-styled blog is dedicated to all high school & college students currently in a world of pain because of finals. Good luck to all, and to all a good night. Good night.

I was thinking about this website, and I realized there needs to be a big change to it. I’m talking complete re-design, new look, new feel. I have had this same style for a long time, and I am no longer satisfied with it. Since I will be finished with this layout style, I am considering posting website layouts in the content section using the same layout coding, but with different graphics.

Along with my different views on what I want to do with my life, I feel it is necessary to make this website a bit more “professional” looking. I no longer want this to be a website where someone will say, oh, another teenager’s blog. I really want to become a graphic designer when i’m older, and I feel this is my first step to making my dream come true. So, expect a few changes within the next few weeks, along with updates. Yes, I said it. Updates. I have finally started to actually update this website with content, and other stuff.

As for now, I have finals in school, which means I will not be able to really do much to this place for a week, (I will be able to post content though), so I can study, and get good grades, so I can then get into college, and become a graphic designer. See my logic? Haha. Well keep visiting, checking for updates, and reading about my life.

Everything is almost back to how it was. I got the computer, I downloaded, and successfully connected to my IP Address with Cyberduck, an FTP program, and ordered Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium earlier today. Give me a few more days to get everything back into place.

So I was talking with my friend who is the station manager of the radio station at my school, and she asked me if I would make the logo for the radio. I am so excited to do it. The radio is the biggest club in my school. I have my own radio show with two friends, and it’s awesome. Also, the logo is everywhere, and blown up to huge banners. I am so excited to know that I will have made the logo.

That’s pretty much all I can say right now. It’s getting pretty late, and I still have homework to do. I have to keep my grades up this year, because it’s the dreaded junior year. But I am doing a pretty good job. I have four A’s, and one B-, so hopefully I will get into college?

Well, summer is over, school has started, and here I am. Back, once again, to my hobby days. The fun is over, and now I have to get serious again. I always am seasonal with my website. I seem to get really into art in the fall and winter, and die out in the spring and summer. Mostly because all I do in the nice weather is just go outside and be with people and socialize. I never really want to sit inside on a computer when it’s 75 and sunny.

Over the time I haven’t been on here, I have made a few new things, and have got together many new ideas. So, you should be expecting this thing to have a big turnaround sometime soon. That is what I like about coming back after a long time, I just have tons and tons of new ideas, and I am ready to start fresh.

So, what did I do this summer? I did a lot. I went to tons and tons of concerts, including the infamous Lollapalooza. Lollapalooza was tons of fun this year. It rained all the first day, but in a way it was sort of fun. I finally saw my favorite band in the world; Tool. It changed my life, I must say. When I wasn’t at a concert, I was with friends.

I am now a junior in high school, and it’s going to be my toughest year. So check back to see what’s new in my life, and with the website.

Ok, so summer is officially over spanks to school. But the good news is, my focus went from no worries or responsibilities, to focusing on school (first day is tomorrow), and my website. With that said, things will be back to how they were, where I would update frequently, and this joint ran a bit smoother.

As you can see, I have made a new layout. It’s simple, but I really seem to like it. It’s clean, but messy at the same time. I might keep this one for a bit.

I apologize if anyone emailed me, and I totally didn’t respond. I totally forgot I even had email, but I will be checking that asap.

You get what I am trying to say will happen. Anyway, a few funny things have happend in my life. First, I got the “Oh, so amazing” iPhone, and I ended up returning it after like 3 days. I bet most people like it, but it just sucked for me. It was so glitchy, so I must have had a faulty one. On top of that, you have to take care of it too much. Like, I was afraid to even use it. It slim and everything, but then you have to get one of those fat cases for it since they don’t have insurance, and it pops out of your pocket. And there is only 16GBs on the hard drive. It just didn’t work.

I ended up returning it, and getting an iPod classic, with a whopping 80GBs on the hard drive. That’s as much as my laptop I think. It’s insane these days. And then I got this cool slider phone that’s blue. Overall, I am happier with this than the iPhone.

And today I got my hand smashed in a car door. I have like 4 bandaids on, and 2 fingers wrapped together. It was almost impossible to type this post and code the new layout, but I managed to do it.

P.S. Why are people saying grudge and not grunge? It’s grunge. Grudge is a feeling; grunge is filth.
