I have been making graphics a lot more frequently lately. Like, in the past couple days, I have made quite a few new things. I have to put them up in my portfolio. That’s next on my list, haha.

So it’s now Summer, and I have nothing to do. I love going out with friends and everything, but this Summer feels different. Like, i’m bored of bumming around all day. I want stuff to do. As sad as it sounds, I actually like routines and shit like that now. Sure sign of growing up? Not sure yet. 17 is a rough age. I love it, but absolutely hate it at the same time. But, at least I have my computer. I will occupy myself somehow.

My website coding is pissing me off a lot, so it will probably change a lot. I am just experimenting with new things. I have been working in adobe illustrator lately, and messing around with that. It’s an interesting program. I went in with only photoshop skills, and I assumed it would be like photoshop, but DAMN was I wrong. It’s almost completely different. But I am getting the hang of it.

I know you all hate me out there, but I am not going to let that hold me back. I have been a bad webmaster, and I realized that, but I have just been going through a lot of shit in my life, and I just had no time to focus on it. I’ll tell you, growing up is a bitch. But I feel like a lot has changed, and i’m proud of that. I’m doing good in school, i’m not as stressed, and I even had time today to put on my new layout, make a blog, etc. So don’t give up on me. This is my life right here, and I want to impress you all. So stick around.

I hope the new look of this website will attract more viewers. I also hope people will see I don’t give up. Killing in the Name will live on!

If you haven’t noticed, the website has been slightly tweaked. There is a new math question spam blocker thing that you have to answer in order to make a comment. I have thousands of spam comments I have to delete, and this plugin seemed to finally end the spam. So relieveing. It’s not nice to have to delete 4,000 spam comments when you can only delete I think 25 at a time.

So other things you might notice are the status bar is going. I have unfortunately joined the Twitter community, and it will be my new status bar. Feel free to follow me I guess? I think my life is interesting enough and odd enough where you might get a few laughs out of my tweets. And last but not least, you will notice it says 2010 instead of 2009 on the footer. Hell yeah.

I love this layout. I am not sure if I like the background, but everything else I thing is sweet. Blue is my favorite color, so I wanted to use different shades of blue for this layout. Lately, I have been working a lot with the pen tool, and let me tell you something. The pen tool is the best and most useful tool in photoshop. Learn to use it, it’s worth it. I changed the coding of this layout around a little bit. I didn’t want to change the coding too drastically, but just enough to notice.

My inspiration for this layout was my tv. I was sitting watching tv for a while, and wanted to make a graphic with a tv. I have also found retro things really interesting, so I used a retro tv, and retro font for the layout. I also used a lot of shapes. I find that shapes can also be very cool. Overall, I am very happy with this layout.

On the other hand, I am selling my first website. I am making one for a client who makes hats. I am very excited to finish it. I still have quite a bit of work to do, but my first sale is almost complete. I got such a rush when I showed it to her. I know this is what I want to do with my life. I am absolutely sure I want to become a web and graphic designer.

Well, this is good for now I guess.

Ok, so I have to pull an all nighter, and dayer or whatever it’s called. I woke up at 4:00pm yesterday, and I haven’t went to bed, and I need to stay up. 2 reasons: I have had a messed up sleep schedule lately, and it’s pissing me off, and today is a beautiful day, like amazingly insanely beautiful. The weather people even called it one of the most beautiful days.

I was getting bored of my old layout last night, and I was like, “Hmm, what should I made my next layout of?” I at first was thinking go for the vector type thing again, but then I decided to use images. When I thought of this, Electric Feel was playing on my iTunes, so I decided to make a layout for one of the gnarliest bands out there, MGMT. If you haven’t heard of them, go search them on iTunes, they are so good.

Ok, anyway, I think I owe it to all of you to tell you what is going on with the content situation. Currently, I am gathering all of my content together, and organizing it. Don’t worry, it will be up soon. I made about like 100 new icon textures, and 20 textures. I also am updating the web icons, and a bunch of other stuff. There is going to be so much stuff on the site, and it will be worth the way. Trust me.
