I am on my third day of having an iPhone, and I must say, I am very pleased. I am specifically amazed by the whole app thing. Honestly, with the phone itself, and the apps, you can do whatever you want to do with it. I did some searching, and I can even get an FTP app to upload stuff to my website server. It’s just unreal. I also now have Bloons and Bloons Tower Defence on the go. Life is good now.

Honestly, I feel like the iPhone is just the future. One day, everyone will have one. It’s pretty much a computer on the go that you can make phone calls with. It’s almost messed up. And tons of people have iPhones already. I want to say about 3 out of every 5 people I know has an iPhone. Apple is taking of the world, and one day Steve Jobs will rule the world.

Or what would you like to know? Just tell me everything! Anything you want to see on my website just tell me, and i’ll probably put it up.

My website coding is pissing me off a lot, so it will probably change a lot. I am just experimenting with new things. I have been working in adobe illustrator lately, and messing around with that. It’s an interesting program. I went in with only photoshop skills, and I assumed it would be like photoshop, but DAMN was I wrong. It’s almost completely different. But I am getting the hang of it.

I know you all hate me out there, but I am not going to let that hold me back. I have been a bad webmaster, and I realized that, but I have just been going through a lot of shit in my life, and I just had no time to focus on it. I’ll tell you, growing up is a bitch. But I feel like a lot has changed, and i’m proud of that. I’m doing good in school, i’m not as stressed, and I even had time today to put on my new layout, make a blog, etc. So don’t give up on me. This is my life right here, and I want to impress you all. So stick around.

I honestly believe that it’s wrong that schools put students through the pain they go through. And my school has it the worst, and i’m in the worst grade possible. Junior Year. During finals, my whole school turns into drug addicts. Somehow there is enough people with Adderall and other ADHD medications at my school to supply almost all 4500 students with a weeks supply of speed. From little freshman, to big seniors. Everyone is just taking tons of pills, and the school administration is well aware of it.

Let me explain to you what goes on at my school. We finish all of our new material for the semester, and then go on winter break for 2 weeks. First off, what exactly does the school think students are doing over winter break? Going over school work daily? No. Teenagers will get drunk, stoned, trip, and snort random stuff at any chance they can get. I can safely say I didn’t go too crazy over winter break, and I still completely forgot everything I was doing previously to winter break. When we get back after winter break, we have 1 week to review, and receive our study sheets. And then the following week is the dreaded finals. If I had finals right before winter break, I would probably have to do about a quarter of the studying I have done SO FAR. Oh, and on top of that I have to read a book for my Junior Theme. I am on page 75, and there is a little more than 400 pages. The reading is due the first thing after finals.

Where am I at right now? Sitting in bed at 2:20 AM on Monday, patiently awaiting the painful feeling of looking at your alarm clock when it says 6:30 AM, and is making a very sharp, painful noise. Today I woke up at 10:30 AM, got ready for the day, and was in the library wrist deep in notes, text books, and binders. I had such bad hand cramps I thought I wouldn’t be able to continue. I ended up studying from 1:30 AM, and just recently ended my studying about 10 minutes ago. It’s 2:24 AM, and I want to shoot myself, metaphorically speaking of course.

This long, rant-styled blog is dedicated to all high school & college students currently in a world of pain because of finals. Good luck to all, and to all a good night. Good night.

Along with my different views on what I want to do with my life, I feel it is necessary to make this website a bit more “professional” looking. I no longer want this to be a website where someone will say, oh, another teenager’s blog. I really want to become a graphic designer when i’m older, and I feel this is my first step to making my dream come true. So, expect a few changes within the next few weeks, along with updates. Yes, I said it. Updates. I have finally started to actually update this website with content, and other stuff.

As for now, I have finals in school, which means I will not be able to really do much to this place for a week, (I will be able to post content though), so I can study, and get good grades, so I can then get into college, and become a graphic designer. See my logic? Haha. Well keep visiting, checking for updates, and reading about my life.

I hope the new look of this website will attract more viewers. I also hope people will see I don’t give up. Killing in the Name will live on!

If you haven’t noticed, the website has been slightly tweaked. There is a new math question spam blocker thing that you have to answer in order to make a comment. I have thousands of spam comments I have to delete, and this plugin seemed to finally end the spam. So relieveing. It’s not nice to have to delete 4,000 spam comments when you can only delete I think 25 at a time.

So other things you might notice are the status bar is going. I have unfortunately joined the Twitter community, and it will be my new status bar. Feel free to follow me I guess? I think my life is interesting enough and odd enough where you might get a few laughs out of my tweets. And last but not least, you will notice it says 2010 instead of 2009 on the footer. Hell yeah.

On top of all that, Merry Christmas! This is my first year celebrating, because I’m Jewish, and never had the chance to celebrate it. But, my friend Corey let me stay the night with him and his mom, and we woke up before sunrise, and opened presents, and hung out. Now it’s a little after 8:00 AM, and we finished National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and now we are watching A Christmas Story. Solid.

Everyone enjoy this wonderful day! Later, my family and I will carry on our Jewish traditions, and go to China Town, and see a movie.

As for me, I have been having a great winter so far. I am on winter break from school, and loads of free time. My Family and I are Jewish, so the whole present thing for us is done. I managed to have my parents buy me cologne, and the Sims 3. Both very satisfying gifts. What did you all get? (I know Christmas hasn’t happened yet, but if you are reading this after Christmas, this question makes sense).

I know everyone is probably wondering, where is Jordan again. But, don’t be sad, because I’m here! Over the past few months, I have been trying my best to expand my graphic and web design career. I have huge plans to open various new websites. I am opening my online design firm soon, along with many other websites. I have to make money also, so most of my new websites will be for making money. But don’t worry, this old blog I have here isn’t going anywhere.

But that’s beside the issue. What I really wanted to talk about was what defines a swear? Is it the history of the words? The context it is used in? Or the way it was expressed? It doesn’t make sense to me. The FCC doesn’t allow a certain list of words on the radio, but what makes a word acceptable, and inappropriate? Where is the line drawn? For example, the word ass. Ass may be viewed as a swear, but it literally is just a donkey.

I was playing the song Empire State of Mind on the show, and all of the sudden, the N bomb popped up. I agree that the word isn’t exactly okay, but what exactly makes it a swear? I am currently reading Frederick Dougless, and I have been hearing the word a lot recently. I agree that it is a terrible word, with terrible history, but what makes it unacceptable? I am Jewish, and I almost feel that the word Jew is a bit edgy. I just don’t understand sometimes how words can be seen as not okay to say.

I remember, I was outside Grant Park over the summer entering Lollapalooza for the second day. And right outside the entrance, there were two people with big signs, and a megaphone, and they were saying we were all going to hell, and god hates our music. This was mostly because of the fact that Tool was headlining that day, but still, that was okay? They were telling my that if I did not turn to Jesus, I was going to burn in hell. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
