Braceless 01.03.09

Today, or well now yesterday, I got my braces off. It is an amazing feeling. It is like cocaine, not saying I have done cocaine, but I can imagine the adrenaline rush it gave me was just like it, but more natural, and it won’t kill me. Anyway, my teeth are so nice, and they are a lot whiter than I thought they would be. No white spots at all, and they are pretty smooth. At 16, having braces is a little odd. It is more natural at like 12. I would always look younger when I smiled, but now I look my age, or even older. And by the way, straight teeth make people look smart, like glasses.

The one downfall is that the pain of teeth pressure isn’t over. I got my retainer today, and it’s hell. I have it in right now, and first, I can’t talk right, and my back teeth hurt. I honestly don’t think I can even sleep in them. But overall, it was a good change, because I want to keep good hygiene, and look good.

Anyway, I have huge plans for this site, and it has been taking a while, but in a short time, this will all look like candy. Not literally ,(ow, I just cut my tongue on my retainer), but it will look good, and work better than ever. Just sit tight, and let it flow, or something like that.

Finally Inspired 12.20.08

So, after a while of tries, I finally created something I like. It’s a big different, but it’s pretty cool. I am going to make it into a website layout, but for now it is just in my portfolio. It is the newest image. I went for a more simple look I guess, and I just sat down, and saw where it went. I am excited to put it up, but it will be my first time using image maping, but I have used rollovers, so I should be good.

Anyway, I really really need a new laptop with adobe design premium. I want an apple. I just need the new hard and software to really start making things I like to make. I am stuck with only photoshop at the moment, but I want illustrator as well. I also want to start using flash. I have learned basic things with it, but I want to learn more.

So how are the holidays going for everybody so far? They have been good for me. It has been snowing like crazy in Chicago, and today we had a snow day, which never happens here. I get to shovel the driveway, and sometimes for money, so I am semi okay with it. What is everybody getting this year?
